Manage Lists

Lists are a powerful tool to help you organize and keep track of the parts you need. In this tutorial, you'll learn how to create, edit, and delete lists, as well as how to manage the parts within them.

Step 1: Accessing Your Lists

Start by logging in to your Venkel website account using your username and password.

Once logged in, navigate to your account dashboard, where you'll find a section labeled "Lists." This section displays all the lists you've created.

Step 2: Deleting a List

To delete a list, simply find list name you want to remove from the dashboard.

You'll see an icon to the right for an option to delete the list. Click on this option to confirm the deletion.

Step 3: Managing Parts Within a List

To view the parts within a list, click on the list name you want to manage. You'll be taken to a table displaying the list's contents.The table columns include:

  • Venkel Part Number: The unique identification number for each Venkel part.
  • Internal Part Number: Your internal reference number for the part.
  • Availability: This number updates based on the real-time availability of the part.
  • Quantity: You can edit this field to adjust the quantity of the part as needed.
  • Unit Price: The price per unit for the part.
  • Subtotal: The calculated subtotal based on the quantity and unit price.

Save For Later

This convenient feature allows you to select specific items or all items in your cart and move them to a "Saved for Later" list, accessible right beneath your cart.

Step 1: Selecting Items to Save for Later

Begin by logging into your Venkel website account with your username and password.

Once logged in, go to your shopping cart, where you'll see a list of items you've added.

Choose the items you wish to save for later by checking the corresponding checkboxes next to them.

Step 2: Saving for Later

Below the cart, you'll find a button labeled "Save for Later."

Click this button to move the selected items to your "Saved for Later" list.

Step 3: Accessing the "Saved for Later" List

To access your "Saved for Later" list, return to your cart.

You'll now see a banner located just below the cart that displays the items you've saved for later.

From this banner, you can choose to either add these items back to your cart or delete them permanently.

Step 4: Managing Your Saved Items

If you decide to add items back to your cart from the "Saved for Later" list, simply click the "Add to Cart" button next to the items you wish to purchase.

If you wish to remove items permanently, click the "Delete" option associated with the items you no longer need.

New List

Step 1: Accessing Your Shopping Cart

Begin by logging in to your Venkel website account using your username and password.

Once logged in, navigate to your shopping cart by clicking on the "Cart", located at the top right corner of the webpage.

Step 2: Selecting Items for Your List

In your shopping cart, you'll find a list of items you've added for purchase.

Choose the items you want to add to a list by checking the checkboxes next to them.

Step 3: Creating a New List

After selecting the items, click the "Add to List" button at the bottom.

You'll be prompted to choose whether to add the items to an existing list or create a new one. To create a new list, click the "Create New List" option.

Step 4: Naming Your New List

Enter a name for your new list in the provided field.

You can also choose to add a description or notes to help you remember the purpose of the list.

Click "Save" or "Create" to confirm the creation of your new list.

Step 5: Accessing and Managing Your Lists

To access and manage your lists, go to your account dashboard.

Look for a section labeled "My Lists", where you'll find a list of all your created lists.

Click on a list to view its contents or make changes such as adding or removing items.

Manual Add To List

This feature allows you to build and customize your lists with specific parts, helping you stay organized for your projects or procurement needs.

Once logged in, navigate to your list in your account dashboard and click on the specific list you want to add parts to.

Step 2: Adding Parts Manually

You'll see fields for "Venkel Part," "Internal Part," and "Quantity." These are where you can input the details for the part you want to add to the list.

Enter the Venkel Part Number, Internal Part Number, and the desired quantity for the part.

After entering the information, click the "Add" button to add the part to your list.

The added part will appear at the bottom of the list, allowing you to review and confirm that it has been added correctly.

Step 4: Repeat as Needed

You can repeat these steps to add more parts manually to the list. Simply enter the details for each part and click "Add" for each one.

Step 5: Managing Your List

Once you've added all the desired parts to your list, you can continue to manage the list by editing, removing, or organizing the items as needed.

Add List To Cart

This feature simplifies the process of moving multiple parts from your lists to your cart, making it easier to complete your purchase or adjust quantities as needed.

Step 1: Accessing Your List

Start by logging in to your Venkel website account using your username and password.

Once logged in, navigate to your list in your account dashboard and select the list you want to add to your cart.
